Patrick Suglia
Dr. Patrick Suglia is a native of Reading, PA. He first entered the world of health care in 1982 as an Emergency Medical Technician. Since that time, he has functioned in various roles including being a Certified Respiratory Therapist, a CPR & First Aid Instructor, and a 2nd Degree practitioner of traditional Usui Reiki as Taught by Takata.
Since graduating from Life University College of Chiropractic in March, 2000, he has practiced in various states, and he returned to Pennsylvania in 2013. In June of 2015, he became a Certified Medical Examiner for the U.S. Department of Transportation. Dr. Suglia places great focus and emphasis on holistic chiropractic and family wellness care.
Dr. Suglia became an author and lecturer on the topic of Autism Spectrum Disorder after it was determined in 2008 that he has a form of high-functioning autism. In 2013, he published his first book, “The Doctor is In: My Success at the Crossroads of Autism and Spirituality”. He is a contributing author to the book, “Been There. Done That. Try This! An Aspie’s Guide to Life on Earth”, published in 2014. He’s currently working on his second book, “Autism, Spirituality, & Medical Mayhem”. Now he encourages other people on the autism spectrum and helps their caretakers, parents, and educators to see autism from a different perspective.
