Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

Reiki is currently being offered at many local and national hospitals and health centers, including Penn State Hershey Medical Center, Cancer Treatment Centers of America, Fox Chase Cancer Center, and Johns Hopkins.

Reflexology is the application of appropriate pressure to specific points and areas on the feet, or hands. Reflexologists believe that these reflex points correspond to different body organs and systems, and that pressing them creates real benefits for the person's health.

Although reflexology is not used to diagnose or cure disease, millions of people around the world use it to complement other treatments when addressing conditions like anxiety, asthma, cancer treatment, cardiovascular issues, diabetes, headaches, kidney function, PMS, and sinusitis.

Hypnosis is a therapeutic technique in which clinicians make suggestions to individuals who have undergone a procedure designed to relax them and focus their minds.

Hypnosis can be a powerful, effective therapeutic technique for a wide range of conditions, including pain, anxiety and mood disorders. It can also help people change their habits, such as quitting smoking or losing weight.

In addition, hypnosis can be used as a complement to medical treatments, to help the patient heal faster.

Chiropractic is a healthcare discipline that emphasizes the inherent recuperative power of the body to heal itself without the use of drugs or surgery. The practice of chiropractic focuses on the relationship between structure (primarily the spine) and function (as coordinated by the nervous system) and how that relationship affects the preservation and restoration of health. In addition, doctors of chiropractic recognize the value and responsibility of working in cooperation with other health care practitioners when in the best interest of the patient.

The US Department of Transportation requires that certain professional drivers, like school bus drivers, tractor-trailer drivers, limo drivers,  and bus drivers participate in a medical examination, every 1-2 years, depending on your license and medical conditions.

These D.O.T. Physicals may only be completed by a Certified Medical Examiner, approved by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.

D.O.T. Physicals are available in our office, or in Dr. Suglia's Mobile Care Van.

Spiritual Counseling is not purely a religious experience, nor is it mental health counseling. Rather, it is an exploration of the emotional and deeper inner personal parts of yourself.

Rev. Thomas utilizes his years of personal experience, intuition, and talents of divination to assist you in sorting out your feelings and investigating unseen options to make good decisions in times of stress and pain.

Massage therapy is manual manipulation of soft body tissues (muscle, connective tissue, tendons and ligaments) to enhance a person's health and well-being. There are dozens of types of massage therapy methods (also called modalities).

The purpose of massage is to relax the tissue, increase the flow of blood and oxygen, and decrease pain.  ... The therapist applies deep focused pressure on knots that can form in the muscles and cause symptoms in other parts of the body
